I have lived in Closter for 17 years, together with my husband and three children. I have served on the Closter Council for 5 years including as Chair of the Department of Public Works, and liaison assignments with the Northern Valley Regional School Board, Fire Department, and Library. I am also a member of various Council committees including Human Resources and Public Safety.
My community involvement has also included serving on the Temple Beth El Board of Trustees for over 11 years (Youth Chair for 5 years, Publicity Chair for 6), being an assistant Girl Scout leader, and participating with various community search committees ranging from school principal to temple rabbi.
In serving as an elected official of Closter, I hope to bring an open mind to whatever issues arise, to listen to all Closter residents and respond to their concerns in a civil, compassionate and helpful manner, and to support initiatives that I believe are in the town’s best interest, both for the Closter of today and tomorrow.
